Our commitment to society
Fish processing goes hand in hand with a sustainable and people-centred approach. Beyond the quality of our products, we place social responsibility at the heart of everything we do.
At Frais Embal, gender equality in the workplace is a long-term commitment. We promote equality within our teams and have introduced a profit-sharing scheme, enabling everyone to benefit directly from our collective performance.
Every year, a professional equality index, based on regulatory criteria, assesses our practices. In 2025, Frais Embal achieved a score of 99 out of 100, reflecting our ongoing commitment to this issue.
We are committed to ensuring equal treatment throughout our employees’ careers, particularly in relation to recruitment, remuneration, career development and work-life balance.
Convinced that expertise is something that can be developed, we also invest in regular training to enable our staff to develop their skills and advance in their careers.
Because performance only has meaning if it goes hand in hand with respect and progress, we make these CSR commitments a cornerstone of our identity and our future. Fancy joining us? To find out about our job vacancies and the latest news from our teams, follow us on LinkedIn.

Our commitment to the environment
At Frais Embal, we place respect for the environment at the heart of our seafood processing business. Aware of our role and our responsibility, we work every day to reduce our environmental footprint and develop sustainable solutions, in partnership with our customers and suppliers.
- Circular economy: 100% of the by-products from the threading process are recycled. Nothing is left to chance; every material is reused.
- Energy self-sufficiency: Thanks to our high-performance systems, we generate 90% of the energy we need for heating.
- Water conservation: We optimise our processes to reduce our water consumption whilst maintaining impeccable hygiene standards.
- More environmentally friendly packaging: we are investing in research and development alongside our partners to design ever more eco-friendly containers. The aim is to preserve the quality and freshness of our products whilst minimising the environmental impact of our packaging.

Our commitment to safety
Safety is our top priority, whether it concerns the protection of our staff or the food safety of the products we offer our customers.
- The safety of our teams: implementing strict protocols, organising regular training sessions on best practice (procedures, hygiene, safety) and continuously improving equipment to minimise occupational risks.
- Food safety: a rigorous system comprising daily checks at every stage of production, the application of recognised hygiene standards and full traceability from sea to plate.
- Evolving standards: we are constantly improving our systems by drawing on feedback from our staff, internal and external audits, and technical and regulatory innovations.
